Burlington Elementary School is thrilled to kick off another great year, welcoming back familiar staff, students, and families! The school is also proud to have received the 23-24 Capturing Kids' Hearts National Showcase award, which recognizes its commitment to building positive relationships and creating a nurturing environment for all students. This prestigious honor reflects the dedication of the entire school community to fostering a supportive and welcoming atmosphere.
To further strengthen this commitment, the district provided training on the foundations of Capturing Kids' Hearts to all new staff this August. Despite a high job turnover this summer, Burlington Elementary hired quality applicants, including six new classroom teachers with over 70 years of combined experience. Whether new or returning, the BES staff is excited to continue the great culture that has been developing.
